President's Message

Dear Friends,

It is a matter of great honour and privilege to serve as the President of Thane Obstetrics & Gynaecological Society (TOGS) for the year 2026–27.

I humbly acknowledge and appreciate the immense efforts of our past Presidents and Managing Committees, who have tirelessly nurtured and built this association from its very foundation to what it stands for today. Their dedication continues to inspire us to take TOGS to greater heights.

My journey with TOGS has been deeply enriching. Having worked at the grassroots level within the association, I understand both its strengths and the opportunities that lie ahead. This year, I commit myself wholeheartedly to strengthening and expanding our association further.

I believe in active participation and collective growth. TOGS has always been a vibrant blend of academic excellence, social responsibility, and cultural engagement. I encourage each member to participate actively, contribute, and collaborate in all our initiatives. At the same time, I value clarity and transparency in communication, which I believe are essential for effective teamwork and progress.

Our focus this year will be to reach out to a wider membership base, enhance member engagement, conduct meaningful public awareness programs, and continue our commitment to social responsibilities.

Together, let us build on the strong legacy of TOGS and make this year impactful and memorable.

Friends, it gives me immense pleasure to connect with you all, our esteemed members of TOGS through this platform. Our society continues to grow in strength and purpose, driven by a shared commitment to advancing women's health and upholding excellence in clinical practice.

Over the past years we have witnessed enthusiastic participation in academic activities, workshops, and cultural collaborations. Such engagement reflects not only our dedication to continuous learning but also our responsibility towards delivering evidence-based, compassionate care to our patients.

As we move forward, our focus remains on fostering knowledge exchange, encouraging young practitioners, and embracing innovations in the field of obstetrics and gynaecology. Strengthening professional bonds and maintaining ethical standards will continue to guide our journey.
